This event, held in an unusual location, commemorates the 100th anniversary of the 1925 Paris Exposition Universelle, and heralds the 2025 event to be held in Osaka, Japan.<\/p>\n
This atypical space was chosen because it is part of Naturtejo<\/b> and symbolizes a vision of the future to be built. The exhibition you are about to see here, with projected images shot at BioGaia<\/b>, will be presented in the port ofUno<\/b>, site of the Setouchi Triennale Art Festival, in the Seto Inland Sea – Osaka, which is hosting this edition of the World Fair, 100 years after the one in Paris.<\/p>\n
Hiroko Kageyama<\/b>, interior designer and artist, knows our region inside out, having organized several events combining hospitality, education, art and gastronomy, to which Armindo Jacinto<\/b>, President of the Municipality, will return in his speech. She created these striking veils, depicting silhouettes from “La belle \u00e9poque”, to establish a symbolic artistic link between the two events bringing together the Idanha Council and the World’s Fair.<\/p>\n
Over the course of a century, the silhouette-paintings are highlighted in the dual natural context of Naturtejo<\/b>, a Unesco park, and in the temporal context of the living remains of this property, which dates back to 1883.<\/p>\n
Why this event in Idanha? <\/b><\/p>\n
We should always be grateful for positive actions…. And Hiroko (and through her, Japan) is keen to recall the ties forged between Japan and the Idanha Council when 35 young Japanese, scarred by the earthquake in 2011, were welcomed to the Council. But let’s hear from the Chairman of the Board, Armindo Jacinto.<\/p>\n

Este evento, realizado em um local inusitado, comemora o centen\u00e1rio da Exposi\u00e7\u00e3o Universal de Paris de 1925 e anuncia a de 2025, que acontece agora no Porto de Uno, Osaka no Jap\u00e3o.<\/p>\n
Este espa\u00e7o inusitado foi escolhido por sua liga\u00e7\u00e3o com a Naturtejo e pela vis\u00e3o de futuro a construir o que ela simboliza. A exposi\u00e7\u00e3o que est\u00e1 prestes a descobrir aqui, enriquecida por uma proje\u00e7\u00e3o de imagens filmadas na BioGaia<\/b>, ser\u00e1 apresentada no Porto de Uno<\/b>, sede do Festival de Arte da Trienal de Setouchi, no Mar Interior de Seto – Osaka, que sedia esta edi\u00e7\u00e3o da Exposi\u00e7\u00e3o Universal, 100 anos ap\u00f3s a de Paris.<\/p>\n
Hiroko Kageyama<\/b>, designer de interiores e artista, conhece perfeitamente a nossa regi\u00e3o, tendo organizado diversos eventos que combinam hospitalidade, educa\u00e7\u00e3o, arte e gastronomia, que Armindo Jacinto<\/b>, Presidente do Concelho, abordar\u00e1 na sua interven\u00e7\u00e3o. Ela criou estas velas marcantes, representando silhuetas de “La belle \u00c9poque”, para estabelecer um elo art\u00edstico simb\u00f3lico entre os dois eventos que re\u00fanem o Munic\u00edpio de Idanha-a-Nova na Feira Universal.<\/p>\n
Nesta viagem de um s\u00e9culo, as pinturas em silhuetas s\u00e3o apresentadas num duplo contexto natural, o do Naturtejo<\/b>, Patrim\u00f3nio Mundial da UNESCO, e temporal, nos vest\u00edgios vivos desta propriedade, nascida em 1883.<\/p>\n
Por que este evento em Idanha?<\/b><\/p>\n
\u00c9 sempre apropriado agradecer por a\u00e7\u00f5es positivas… E Hiroko (por meio dela, o Jap\u00e3o) faz quest\u00e3o de relembrar os la\u00e7os formados entre o Jap\u00e3o e o Concelho de Idanha quando este acolheu 35 jovens japoneses traumatizados pelo terremoto de 2011.
